Dave Dayan

David Dayan is an Associate General Counsel specializing in business and corporate transactional law. Mr. Dayan advises Caltech's Investment Office, Office of Technology Transfer, Advancement and Alumni Relations, Business and Finance Office, and others on various matters related to investment activities, innovation efforts, observatory activities, bond offerings, credit arrangements, gifts and major donations, real estate, tax and the law of tax-exempt organizations.

Mr. Dayan received his undergraduate degree with distinction from Cornell University and his J.D. from New York University School of Law where he was on the Editorial Staff of the Journal of International Law and Politics.

Mr. Dayan began his career in private practice in New York City and has also worked in private law firms in Palo Alto and Los Angeles.
