Christine Ro
Christine M. Ro is an Associate General Counsel focusing on litigation and investigations as well as counseling on cybersecurity, export control and government contracts, among other issues. Ms. Ro earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.
Prior to joining Caltech's Office of General Counsel, Ms. Ro was an Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Attorney's Office for the Central District of California, where her portfolio included investigations and prosecutions involving export regulations, counterterrorism, counterintelligence, trade secrets, cybersecurity, foreign policy, and complex national security matters. For her work with the Department of Justice, Ms. Ro was recognized by the Director of the FBI for Outstanding Prosecutive Skills and Assistance to the FBI in 2023.
Ms. Ro has served as trial counsel in the United States District Court and argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
